Salary: €4000 – €6000 monthly (before taxes), depending on experience

Besides engineering and general customer support, we also develop and maintain our own engineering and data management software platform, EDM. Currently, the software is customized for each client and implemented at four major players in the petrochemical industry. Our mid-term goal is to further develop EDM into a more standardized and accessible solution for smaller clients, while in the long term enabling faster implementation at larger organizations as well.

The combination of hands-on engineering experience at customer sites and the development of software solutions for these types of clients creates a highly valuable synergy, as it provides direct insight into customer needs and workflows.

Knowledge of and experience with developing generic software solutions is considered a strong advantage.

Job description

As an Engineer E&I with an affinity for programming, you will play a key role in the further development of our software EDM. You act as the bridge between our customers and the software development environment by translating customer needs, challenges, and engineering workflows into practical application functionality. In this role, you will work on the back-end of the platform while closely collaborating with both engineers and software developers. A combination of E&I engineering knowledge, analytical thinking, and interest in software and databases is essential.

• HBO or academic working and thinking level
• Affinity with programming
• Web development
• Database / SQL kennis
